Dutch Heavy cavalry at Waterloo

Dutch and Belgian Cavalry in formation...hopefully stopping the charge just short of the ditch!

Following on from the Dutch Courage post I thought it was time to add some of the heavier cavalry types which fought for the Anglo Dutch forces during the Hundred Days Campaign.  These are all Perry Miniatures figures from their superlative Napoleonic range.

The flash certainly makes a difference to the overall look of the unit on screen doesn't it?

They have yet to see the field of battle on my tabletop however that should change over the next couple of weeks with a bit of luck!
